Also have the main struts built for the landing gear. They are made from 4130 tubing. Took several shifts to these fit and silver soldered together.

It looks like they are flat with no airfoil in the pics. There is a little airfoil on the rudder and horizontal stab!

Nearly 2 decades to complete by Vietnam veteran who started building aircraft in 1965. Excellent documentation and photos, aircraft is flown by one pilot. The aircraft is mostly aluminum and contains more than 25,000 rivets, flown 55 hours, most recently to EAA Airventure 2018, Experimental Certified.

Scratch building 1/5 scale from Jim Pepino plans. These drawings lack standard 3 views. Can anyone tell me if the rudder, elevator, and ailerons on the actual production plane were flat or airfoiled. The fin and horizontal stab are shown airfoiled on the drawing.
